I have a scene with cameras, they work for a bit and are able to be added to the queue.
But after a while I cannot add them anymore the option becomes non active.
Is this a bug, I just installed 2023, never had this issue in ks9

Hi @sophie.peeters,
I did quite a few animations and don’t recall having the same issue. Maybe you can record a bit of video of the steps you do or a screenshot about which button becomes non-active?
I guess you go to the render window, set the frames you want to render with the animation tab and than select ‘add to queue’? Never seen that button greyed out, did sometimes get a warning there was no animation because I had the animation layer inactive.
Had similar problems, when GPU is activated. But this issue isn’t reproduceable every time
I had this problem previously and it was related to using a network drive to save render queue list too that wasn’t also on the same drive as the installed program, weird issue, but when I relocated the save file location it all worked again.
If you want to render in a video format, there is no way you can shut down the computer, turn it on, and resume rendering. You can, however, pause the render, put the computer to sleep, and then continue the render later.
If you are willing to render an image sequence, you may then render a few frames, stop the render, shut down; and continue the render whenever you want. Pay attention, however, that you resume the same render in the render queue that you stopped. That way, it will start rendering from where it stopped, and save the images in the same location.
